As a kid our family rented a tiny cabin on the bay side of Dewey Beach, Delaware. It was a magical time with camp fires on the beach, our dad taking us out on a tiny sail boat and CRABBING! There were LOTS of crabs and I loved to put my chicken skins on a rope tied to a stick, dunk it in the water and pull up beautiful big crabs.
Those are the memories when I painted "Old Bay". I hope it might bring back some great memories for you, too! Joan
