Original Watercolor on Yupo
“Day Break – Mystical Morning”
•$1,600
Size: Visible art 25”X19”, white frame 34”X28”, 1 1/8” face, 8 ply mat
Also Available: 16" X 20" Fine Art Prints Available. Limited Edition of 25.
Drying time for each watercolor layer can take days. The original layers can be disturbed easily so paint is carefully applied over each layer. This is a great material to paint with because you cannot take your self seriously and fully plan what will happen! The paint will move and run and can be gently manipulated by titling the Yupo side to side. It does not absorb like ordinary watercolor paper. The colors pop! They are vibrant true pigment colors and interesting textures can be created. Once completely dry these paintings have been treated with many coats of archival finish to ensure they will last for many, many years.
